OFF — 4K UpscalerThese Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the OFF — 4K Upscaler application ("the App") and the off.onl website ("the Site"), together "the Service", operated by OFF ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. License to use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Macs you own or control, for personal or internal business purposes. You may not resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the App, or attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent its access controls, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
2. Lifetime free offer
We may offer lifetime free access to a limited number of early users (for example, the first 100,000 accounts). Eligibility is determined at our discretion based on availability at the time you sign in, and may be subject to a free-access quota. Once the quota is reached, new users may be offered paid access instead. The offer is not transferable and may be modified or withdrawn for future users, but we will not revoke lifetime access already granted to an eligible account except in cases of abuse or violation of these Terms.
3. Accounts
Some features require signing in (for example, with Google). You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your access secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are used for abuse, fraud, or unlawful activity.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only with content you own or have the right to process, and in compliance with applicable laws. You must not use the Service to infringe others' rights or to process unlawful material.
5. Updates
The App may check for and offer updates. Installing updates is at your choice. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features over time.
6. Third-party components
The App includes open-source components, including Real-ESRGAN and FFmpeg, which are provided under their respective licenses. Those licenses continue to apply to those components.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that upscaling results will meet your expectations.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or media, arising from your use of the Service. Because the App processes media locally on your device, you are responsible for maintaining backups of your files.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
