Download & open the DMG
Download the app, then double-click the downloaded .dmg file to open it.

Drag to Applications
Drag VideoUpscaler onto the Applications folder shown in the window.

Open it the first time
Open Applications, then follow one of the options below to launch it the first time.
First launch on macOS
Because the app is distributed outside the App Store, macOS shows a one-time confirmation before the first launch. This is normal for indie Mac apps and only needs to be done once, macOS remembers your choice afterwards.

Right-click and choose Open Easiest
In Applications, Control-click (or right-click) VideoUpscaler, choose Open, then click Open in the dialog.

Allow it in Settings
Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to the message about VideoUpscaler, and click Open Anyway.

Use Terminal (advanced)
Run this once after moving the app to Applications:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/VideoUpscaler.appIs it safe? Yes. OFF processes everything locally with bundled open-source tools (Real-ESRGAN and FFmpeg) and does not upload your media. The confirmation is about the app's signature, not its contents.
